Our modern manufacturing facility is located near Charlottesville, VA within 90 minutes of three major airports (and 30 minutes from Charlottesville’s jetport). This mid-Atlantic location places us squarely within the largest population corridor in the country allowing accessible and efficient work-flow and distribution of printed material. While visiting our plant, our customer service lounge and surrounding countryside (as well as beautiful Charlottesville) may make any visit not only productive, but comfortable and enjoyable as well.

Brief History
American Press was founded in 1974, pioneering the idea in the magazine printing industry of focusing its resources upon doing one thing exceptionally well. We designed and built specialized equipment to set a new benchmark for competition. American Press has maintained its sharp technological edge by continuously reinvesting in ourselves to become one of the country’s largest privately-held printers of special interest magazines and catalogs. We have grown by forging partnerships with new clients at the same time continuing to enjoy mutually beneficial, long-term partnerships with many of the same customers our company was founded upon.
